About The Maxwells

Kasey is the lead Pastor of The Life Church (TLC), along with his wife, Alicia. They have been in ministry for over 20 years. They were married in 1999 and have two amazing young adult daughters, Alana and Audrey. 


In 2019, they moved from Texas to Florida. Pastor Kasey was hired as the Executive Pastor here at The Life Church. In 2021, he was appointed as Lead Pastor. 


Alongside the ministry team here at TLC, we have a call to be a different kind of church. “Church. Done Different” is a phrase we have built our message upon. We want to be a community of Christ-followers who are loving to all, creative with our ideas, relational in our community, unified in our differences, and generous with our gifts.


Pastor Kasey's heart is to move people out of religious bondage and into a real relationship with their Father God. 


Alicia serves the church as Ministry Director. Her gift is to organize the ministry structure, the volunteers, and the procedures, and to help facilitate and execute the vision God has given for TLC.


TLC is built upon the statement found in Amos 5:4, where the Lord says: “Seek me, and live”. So with this truth in mind, we know that “Whoever finds God, finds LIFE!” We look forward to partnering with you as we reach the heart of Apollo Beach and the entire Southshore area for Christ!

Fun Facts about Kasey & Alicia

When and where I got saved:


Kasey: June 1998 - I was 19 years old and I went to my cousin’s church (honestly because some cute girls invited me). Sitting in that service, I had a supernatural encounter with Jesus and my life has never been the same! 6 months later I met my wife.



Alicia: I was a child, maybe 7 or 8, in kids church when they called kids up front who wanted to give their heart to Jesus. I remember that walk because I knew I wanted to give Jesus my life as my parents had raised me up in the faith and we attended our church every Sunday. Shortly after, I was baptized by my dad in front of the church. My life has always since that time been for serving and loving Him!
